Welcome Message
It is a great honor to extend a warm invitation to The 13th Conference of the Aseanian Membrane Society (AMS13) hosted by the Membrane Society in Singapore (MEMSIS) to be held in the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) of Singapore on 4 – 6 July 2022.
The AMS13 is one of the most important conferences that brings our members together from around the world to share the latest advances in membrane science & technology and provides a great opportunity to expand our professional networks.
The Aseanian Membrane Society (AMS) was founded in 2002 to advance and benefit membrane science and technology in the regions of “Asian” and “Oceanian”. AMS endeavores and aims to serve membranologists in these regions and to promote and connect with membrane organizations around the world. AMS organizes an annual AMS Conference, except for the years when the International Congress on Membranes & Membrane Processes (ICOM) is held, which takes place every three years. The most recent AMS Conference (AMS12) took place in in Jeju, Korea in 2019, and attracted hundreds of participants from the member societies and across many other related fields. Due to Covid-19, the AMS13 was postponed from 2021 to 2022.
As General Co-Chairs of AMS13, we are certain that AMS13 will be a memorable experience for you both on personal and professional grounds. Your participation will make the conference more valuable and successful. We believe that this conference will surely serve as one of the most rewarding and memorable meetings for all of us.

The AMS13 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts in the fields of membrane science and technology for oral and poster presentations. All papers will be reviewed and assigned to the appropriate session for oral and poster presentations.

* Participants registered for ‘In-Person’ have full access to the Plenary Sessions, Special Sessions, Oral Presentation (Physical), Oral Presentation (Online), Poster Presentation (Physical), and social events. For 'In-Person', all delegates are required to register online by 19 June 2022 as walk-in/onsite registrations will strictly not be entertained.
** Participants registered for ‘Online’ have access to join virtually the Plenary Sessions, Special Sessions and Oral Presentation (Online) Sessions.
Note that recorded lectures of all sessions will be made available as on-demand videos after the conference.
Event Policies:

STRICTLY NO CANCELLATION & REFUND of payment. Replacements are allowed subjected to the organisers’ approval. Request for replacements must be sent to sgmemsis@gmail.com by 19 June 2022.

If AMS13 is cancelled by the organisers, there will be a full refund on the registration fee. If AMS13 is postponed, the registration will automatically be transferred to the new dates for the event.

AMS13 is a fully vaccinated event and all registered attendees will be required to present their proof of being fully vaccinated at the point of check-in at the event venue. Registered attendees may risk being turned away at the event should they not be able to produce proof of being fully vaccinated by the event day.

All participants to AMS13 must adhere to the Safe Management Measures (SMMs). Anyone who fails to comply with SMMs will be denied entry to all events of AMS13 and there will be no refund of registration fee.
